Please can someone shed some light on my prob? Got an 89 saph 2wd and it seems to just try to cut out all the time. Started it up this morning and it was fine, then restarted at dinner and revvin its conkers off on its own. disconnected icv and tickover was spot on but rev counter keeps going to 0 and engine dies. when the car is running and i plug icv back in it cuts car out straight away??? Its also worse when turning right for some reason? any ideas

 

cutting out dont take to me about cossies cutting out,i have a j reg cossie i bought it in march time, and since then my car has cut out about 10 times,i keep fixing 1 fault then another 1 starts , i think im getting there with mine now last time i changed the fuel filter, cause i think it had loads of crap in it, have u had the idle speed control valve out n cleaned out
