Default Ford Underseal!

Whats the underseal used on S2's from the factory? Its the beige colored stuff sort of like rubber!

Im asking as i wanna reseal my S2 next week and want the underseal to be overpaintable! If not the Ford stuff can any1 recommend any good stuff?

Its sprayed on at the factory. You can get tubes of similar stuff to spray but its very expensive and will cost a fortune to do the whole underneath. When I did my S2 years ago, the shell was blasted underneath, then coated in red-oxide primer. On that went a shit load of the spray on underseal (shultz?). It goes off so can be overpainted.

The best stuff you can get is 3M BAG SEALER.It,s not cheap, Ł12 a bag and i used 15 of them to do the underside of my s2.You can paint over it aswell Name:  UNDER5.jpg

Theres a bloke on ebay i bought some underseal off him its proper professional stuff thats available in black or grey and can be overpainted.

Was Ł7 iirc

i wanna do this but i havent got the time to scrap it all off the bottom, would a bodyshop be able to do this? just need to find a good cheap one in North west then lol!

this is what i wanted to do the underside of my saff, but as i am only doinf small bits, i'll use the brush on stuff as i havent got a compressor
