saying that i would imagine that most ford leads are held on using the same crimped connector that you have in your picture, i am only guessing tho, might be worth getting a cheap ford lead and pulling it apart cheers nomad

Thats along the same lines as what I was thinking . adding the coilpack connectors is a piece of cake, but the spark plug connector is difficult since the connection is moulded within the connector about 1 inch in, hence the terminal connection.

Did BERU make all the leads for the Fords of that era do you know???

If nobody knows I guess i'll have to take a trip to the breakers

If so, then you've sussed it, as long as I can find a set of original leads, just unplug them and fit to my connectors ......

can you not remove those brass/copper connectors and crimp/solder them onto the end of any plug lead long enough?

If needed, I think Mike R can locate/supply you custom length leads.

Possibly, but they double crimped, and the main cripm to the core is obviously very small, I suspect prising it open will not leave it in a very good condtion for resealing...........

I found some new, but the bloke wants Ł2 for each terminal........

and Ł6 for postage......from Cornwall

Thanks Bill,

I can make the leads myself no problems, but wanted to keep the original BERU plug connectors since they have the resistor internally (unlike the cheap all rubber replacements).

But because of this I also need the BERU terminals they use to connect the spark plug and dizzy ends to the lead..........

Hence why I thought anybody out there who makes custom leads may well have some of these terminals......
