Ok ive been with HIC for 3yrs now with my RS turbo and they have always done a mega good quote and i mean always a few hundred less than the competitors.
But for some reason they want a load to insure a cozzie.
Im 25 with full no claims and no accidents etc and ive done all the ltd milege, garaged and cat 1 alarm stuff but still they want close to a grand
Can you recommend any good companies please?
List em here with the phone numbers
Thanks

Been with boncaster since owning the car apart from 1 year, with adrian flux that year missed, all depends on what power ya running but this year for me declared mods 350 bhp and most of the year on a lay up policy £355 comp

I've been going round the same thing. Greenlight told me they won't go below £500 on cosworth no matter what.. they quoted me over £600 against £345 from Boncaster/RSOC, bearing in mind that includes track cover and breakdown recovery..

just had a quote £669 tpft with directline.
HIC wanted over £800
Flux £638
heritage have said you need to be over 28 for a cosworth.
A friend of mine, is with Footman and James on a classic policy, on a 4x4 cos, he is 25 and pays 250 odd, but mine is just under 15 years old dammit.

Boncaster were half the price of anywhere else for me. I'm paying £490 for my 4x4 Saff with stainless steel exhaust declared. I was 26 when i took out the policy as a second car, so no NCB to bring with me. This insurance is only open to RSOC members I believe tho.
