I need to set up a spread sheet to help with a quarterly rebate claim (from shipping lines).

I would like it to be done on Excel that way everyone & they're dog will be able to use it!

Now i've had a play but i'm fucked if i can work out how to get the B/L numbers to run numerical?!? Also i'd need Ecxel to pick out dates per quarter, thus allowing to collate the info.

Any tips?

In the past we would have a sheet for each carrier, for each routing but i can work out the coding for that..........

if you highlight the values you want to run in order,and then click one of the icons above the F column in your pic,that should give you the option to order them how you want them...i think

If it is just a case of rearranging the rows so that they are in BL Number order, click DATA, SORT and select Column F from the pull downs. There is usually an icon on the toolbar but it isn't showing on your screen print but you can add the button.

 

Let me know if this isnt sorted and I will have someone look at here.

Well I never knew that! Definately pleased with the service and for anyone else considering shipping a car this was the only company I could find who would allow shipping of goods in the car.

Yep eratic idle was fixed, dodgy old sensor and Mike R posted me a new one.

If you get any excel issues again, send them my way as my Project Manager is a whizz and can do far more than I even realised in Excel.

Thanks mate. Kind of gave up due to not being able to get things shipped but did get some new odd bits from Ford before I sold it. Still see it with the new owner though occasionally. He has taken good care of it and restored it completely.

My brother hopes to be on the way in the next 12 months so have sent him your way. Not sure if he is bringing a car or not but has a lot belongings.
