Ive only had my mk2 escort about 3 months so am new to understanding the ins and outs about diffs, props and halfshafts. My car goes in all gears but when you let the clutch up nothing happens basically?? the clutch woz fine before a silly burnout and the cable hasnt snapped. the prop isnt hanging on the floor either so its not that!!! thanx if anyone can help. james

 

get some1 to have a look under the car when the car is in gear and revin to see if the prop is spining,if it is then the diff is buggered

 

more than likly u have destroyed the clutch plate

 

You could also have snapped a half shaft.
