Greenlight - 01277 263 030

And I'm pretty sure the PassionFord discount still exists.

Hi Chop,

I've been away for the last 2 weeks at Center Parcs and have just returned, saw your post and wanted to confirm the situation.

The discounts that we had in place under our schemes have been retained and are tiered.

As a PF forum member you would receive a concession of 7.5% within the rate quoted, or if you have Gold membership (ie. paying to support the upkeep of the PF forum) you would recieve an additional 5% concession.

With regard to the sticky, you were correct. There was a sticky explaining the in's and outs of the scheme but due to other traders on here objecting (despite our trade membership) the sticky was removed by Stu.

We also contacted Stu to see as to whether a specific section of the forum could be added to cater for Insurance, in order that all comments related to Insurance could be made there. We could then sponsor a specific sticky with purely the Insurance section so that this would not effect the other traders or clog the General area with Sticky's, but I think Stu preferred to keep these comments within the General Discussion area.

Anyway, our contact number for quotations via telephone is 01277 263030 (as kindly advised above) or if you prefer you can obtain a quotation by using our website - click this link http://www.greenlightinsurance.com/passion_ford.php to be directed to our website.

Kind regards

Tony

Tony,
I've literally JUST got insured with yourselves via the "http://www.greenlightinsurance.com/passion_ford.php" but it doesn't ask if you're a 'goldmember' on there.

Can you just check the correct discounts have been applied please

ref no www17021

May I just say it's a very good price anyway!!

Hi KJC,

The Insurers/Underwriters allowing the concessions for enthusiast schemes require us to check/prove that the individual is actually a member of the approved club/forum.

We've drilled our technical sales staff to check PF whenever we get an application from a PF member. This way we will apply the correct concession for you.

Most people just put PF as the referrer & dont always declare gold, so we check PF to see when the member joined & whether theyre standard or Gold at the point of quotation.

Kind regards

Tony

Tony, can you please confirm that there is a £500 minimum premium floor for Cosworth insurance that can't be improved on from your perspective? This is what I was told over the phone, so didn't take it any further..

Hi Rich,

There are minimum premiums that depend upon risk profiles, these can be driven by a combination of things (ie. Age/Postcode/Vehicle).

You were right to check, it's always worth checking.

In your circumstances it sounds like our staff have checked the scheme minimum premiums for our specialist Insurers. Thus the £500 minimum being purely for your individual risk profile.

Kind regards

Tony

ah.. ok thanks Tony. It came across on the phone that this was a blanket minimum for cosworth group vehicles. I can't imagine my risk profile could get any better though as far as age, history, postcode area is concerned But you can't please all the people i guess
