On the original pipe for the RST there is a restrictor in just before the bend. When running higher boost will this restrictor need altering?

I thought it was just a 90 degree bend, no restrictor as such?

I run silicon pipe straight to mine

 

Thats a vaccum breaker valve. It'll be fine

some cars ive broken have had propper little valves fitted, i beleve they are early crude was of making the ecu not cut the fueling when the boost is upped

ive got 1 that works like a non variaible bleed valve thats made by TTechnics thats was fitted in the ecu vacumn pipe on a very old skool tuned rs

 

Mine was fine with just a straight peice of silicon vacuum tubing.
