hi all could anyone give me some advice about getting set up, im not a computer kinda guy and im gettin a bit pissed off trying to get honest answers out of suppliers. the problems im facing are:

1.some are telling me i can get 4 meg some 1meg?
2.some say they can connect me within 10 days some mid september
3.I dont want to use talk talk out of principle (long story)
4.Its for xbox live so reliable connection is essential (just got a 360)
5.what is the best router within a small budget
6. I dont want to have call package its just broadband and i have a bt line as from august the 14th

Cheers guys, dont know if there is anything else i need to be aware of as the people you speak to on the phone are sales people and hardly likely to give me honest replies

 

Orange have bought wannadoo out.

Excellent provider and even give it free if you get a aphone with them on a £30 pm contract.
