Just spent the last few days there. (and the next 6 weeks on and off)
as I have got some contract work there for my new job.

Whats the best places to go out in the evening ?

Went to the Play House pub and then the Opera House club last night
(which was a foam party, very sticky but fun )

Absolutely rammed with top totty

 

Hippodrome, Route, Yates' other than that.. its shit

 

Playhouse is always a good place to start! Avoid the hippodrome for gods sake

Got the HAHA bar at the bottom of the high street, hub (near the cinema) which are both good for general drinking, like the playhouse really.

Routes a really good club, always top totty Yates is always banging too

Then youve got loadsa places scattered about, that have some great nights but then other evenings you can go in and its shit. Chicago's (opposite route), o'neils, edwards

Plenty of places to try tho

Wasnt as big as the outside queue would suggest


Couldnt get in Yates as I was wearing a football shirt.

Still, got 6 weeks to try out every takeaway and restaurant and all paid for
by my new employers.

if you live there and go there all the time, yep would be crap, like romford ish, but for one offs ( a new place ) to you its all good
