If you're not bothered about petrol costs and want a proper cheap comfy cruiser go for a 500 merc or an older 4.2 Jag

Comfy as hell....all the toys and goes like a steam train!!

I gave 200 quid for my 520i SE on a 91 J plate, full BMW history, 2 owners from new (one of which being bmw), only 105k on the clock - hardly run in. taxed and tested till jan next year

Propper funbus, slides well in the wet too

i dont want a big comfy cruiser as 1500 or whatever miles is alot in an uncomfy car.

seriously though a old jag or daimler will waft along nicely,
take up 2 parking spaces in a pub car park.

Last 24v I saw was 175quid, and someone on the GTR board bought one for same reason as you for 75quid the other day.
