2wd drive saff, drove to Castle Combe Saturday fine on the way home had a play with a FQ300 up the motorway and all of a sudden when the boost gets to 10 psi the engine cuts for a sec the rev counter goes madly up and down and the it will boost up to 17 psi and the same every gear???

Any Ideas?

 

Have u put stage 3 on now mate??? If so have you got it setup?

 

Sounds like it could be a problem with crank/phase sensors...

 

Yeah Steve from here came round and helped me out, all the bits are on and running low boost new ecu as well

 

Any way of testing the crank/ phase sensor

 

Mate to be honest you need to get it setup etc why dont u just take it to a garage and they will find and sort the prob out

 

Coz I be-grudge paying someone Ł30 upwards an hour to stand there and try and find a problem, I dont mind paying for work that I can't do or don't have the equipment to do. But I am paranoid that they will find he prob in 5 mins and then tell me it took 3 hours and sting me for it, unfortunatly I do not have a good enough relationship with any tuners or garages to put it in

 

all the places i have gone to, i have waited with the car mate and they talk you through what they are doing
