sooty plugs

Default sooty plugs

i have just changed the plugs in my 500 they were very sooty the plugs
that i took out were champion c57yc are these the corect plugs. i bought a new set from ford they gave me platinum agps 092p the car has a stage
one chip but the plugs were very sooty is this corect also what are the right tyre pressures

i bought a new set from ford they gave me platinum agps 092p
I use these plugs, excellent never had any problems and mine is approx 340 bhp!

black means unburnt fuel, it might be running a bit rich - get the fuelling checked out by an expert on a rolling road!!!

Ermmm check with stu mate, stage 1 should be ok thou but i know he said their a big no no on a stage 3 set up.

Infact just re-read it and realised he said its a stage 1 aswell but as said double check with Stu or someone!

um....59s are FAR better in mine than 57s!!!57s misfire ALL the time,on start up,on motorways if just driving normally!they even stopped my car from starting a few times as the gaps closed up and they wouldnt fire!!!59s much much much better in my experience!
