Default Newts Escy Cos signed up......

What a long day yesterday was, left Liverpool at 9.30am hoping to get to Cambridge for Dinner time ish. But how wrong i was from j16, everyone was doing 50mph in all 3 lanes, then when i get to the J11/12, the Toll road had delays between T3/T4 so had to go through Birmingham. So didnt arrive at Scotty's till gone 2.30pm

Had a chat about the WRC beast dieing...not a happy man with Mountune at the moment is Steve...oil pump siezed & took the crank aswell but the engine was out & was being ready to be dropped back in today

I'll stop the chit chat now & get to the point...he's the pics of Andys car all done, & a BIG BIG thanks must go to Steve & Sara for letting me sign the car up there(on a Sunday) while they went out & doing there own thing, Cheers Steve/Sara

Far as i no mate, its still in the Escort, pressure valve failed, causing the oil pump to sieze. Head Gasket was replaced after the 1st old skool day at Brunters. The engine was getting rebuilt yesterday, all was left to do was put the head on & fit into the engine bay.

Cheers Paul. Very neat and patient work. Very polite and tactful (for a scouser) when it came to my design - still thinking about the flames tho'
I didn't want to do a replica (although I like them, there's loads about) so I pinched the logo from Ford owned Cosworth Racing, took the blue n red 'swoosh' out and called Paul.
Couldn't resist the MOVEOVER - I like cheese
Porkie - we'll see how many times I get passed, then I might change the sticker.
PON'dlife - "your" wheels just went up £50 although they might be obsolete by the time your car is ready.
Just need my on piece lycra racesuit, gloves n boots in silver/blue/red to match
Cheers

Paul - I told you, you were tactful - what was I thinking?
And as for bringing a flask, make sure we've got chocie hobnobs, too

Cosworth Racing are going to be at Nat Day with loads of goodies.
http://www.rsownersclub.co.uk/pages/natday/cosworth.htm
Maybe I'll get a Cosworth Racing lighter, and make do with the flames from that?
Hope they don't do me for copyright, cos I'll have to give them your number, Paul
