right got one of these for my series 1 (upgrade) and new cos4wd front callipers and 2wd rears.
This is where it goes wrong, the series 1 master cylinder has 4 out lets and the series 2 only 2
am i right in thinking that on a series 1 the 4 go to each wheel and on a series 2 the 2 outlets go to front and back with t piece`s.
I f this is the case can i ditch the old crap series 1 set up and use the series 2 set up with just the 2 out lets and 2 t`pieces
safechav any ideas mate
and any one else
Andy

Yes thats the way,one outlet to do the fronts and the other outlet to do the backs. You can put a bias valve into the rear line beside the handbrake to settle the rear bias and stop the backs from locking up.Regards Micky

The theory being if a brake fails you still maintain the braking of one front and one rear brake

Do as Ive told you, digonally is only for old ladies goin to the shops, and you CANNOT use a bias valve if split diagonally.Ive no pic's,but they will only show a pipe comin out of the master cylinder etc.Any quetions, just ask.Regards Micky

You just need 2 bias valves if you run diagonal split
Andy, would you like to try some 285mm discs and alloy calipers before going all out changing stuff. Is your car on the road ?
I have a loan set that I would like to try on a few cars for feedback.
They fit under 15"
