He's very lucky indeed. I've seen crash tests of cars striking lamp posts and signs through my job and it's terrifying how much damage can be caused by them. Even a relatively low speed impact can do terrible damage.
The guys ok though and should recover, that's the main thing

the lad is local and is well known to a few of the members but not a local rsoc lad the car has been arround big roy had it for a while
