Hi there, I have just purchased some carbon dash parts but they are designed to replace the heater vents. Is there a technical reason why I shouldnt remove the vents, as I rarely use the car only on hot days so I never have the heaters on anyway.

I just pulled the vents out and angled the pipe down

 

BTW how much does the heater matrix weigh?
