Seen some of these banded about on eBay? Is there any benefit to fitting one or better off with OE item?

yes and no. RS turbo's dont really suffer from missfire's, as they don't run big boost (cylinder pressures)

My car was fine until around 23psi, then things went very pair shaped. The Grp A coil certainly helped - everything else has to be perfect.

I would get one if you had missfire's for sure, or if you are planning big power.

 

oh - and SafeChav....... don't make me laugh

 

If your fitting 1 make sure the rest of the ignition side of things is also upto it so make sure you got new leads, dizzy cap & rotor arm
