If i buy a GRS front mount intercooler off an S2 will this fit my S1 without having to do anything major to the front off the car and i assume if i also get the S2 boost hoses it should pipe up fine ????

 

nope it wont fit with out a few cut mods mate

I was thinkin the same thing as I would like to replace standard intercooler in the near future are there any larger capicity ones you can fit with out hacking lumps out of my new front panel?

 

i have a radtech front mount on my s1,just have to trim a bit to alowe for the fan

 

will fit mate with a series 2 rad aswell ive got a s2 grs and a pace s2 rad in mine bit of a ball ache to fit had to chop small section out of front panel for fan i wouldnt advise doing it its a real ballache to do

 

ive fiited a s2 front mount as well but had to use a s2 rad its not as hard as it sounds but you obviously need the s2 boost hoses ans s2 top water hose

 

im not saying its hard to do it can be akward to do but if its much cheaper than the series 1 items to get hold of then go for it
