Default FAO Series 1 Owners, Pic request please!

Can someone take a picture of their standard Series 1 Shelf and post it up please?

Keep looking on ebay for a Series 1/Mk3 shelf and all I get is fuckin Mk4 ones! Do these people not know the bloody difference!

Thanks in advance, would be a great help!

A wee tip. Hunt about on Ebay or Adtrader even local scrappies for Mk3 Ghia's with the grey interior. They had the same parcel shelf if not it is damn close. Also has the speakers in it and the cable which screws in to the left hand side of the boot.

Phone them up and offer them money for the parcel shelf only. If you say you are prepared to go to £50 then i reckon 99.9% of these people will bite your fukin hand off. I mean their car is not going to be worth much more than that is it? gives them an extra £50 on top of what they'll get for the car. Could even give them your old one to put in theirs so the person buying the car won't notice the difference.

Thay can only say no

No worries mate, that's how I got mine, although I bought the whole car off of Ebay for £180. Got sunroof, parcel shelf, bronze tint front and rear windows, good set of clocks, Full lock set with torch key and spare, original radio cassette which still works, all the switches, sold the 2 tone dash for £110 on ebay. Then towed it to scrappy and got £20 for it. Also cashed in the 6 months remaining tax on it. got something like £80 back.

Would take me forever to get the amount of spares I got from that car and all it cost me was a run to Sunderland.

Happy days

Car is booked into concours section at Ford Fair in 3 weeks!

Hi buddy, I'll have a look on my PC tonight and see if I got one if not I'll take one of mine at the weekend. Let the carcoon down, she's only seen light once this year!

Keep your eye on ebay as I have seen them on there although the genuine shelf's with the speaker holes are rare I must admit.

Cheers

It was a bit fluffy / hairy and so he got his electric shaver on it
Said he glued some of the shaved hair onto the baldy bits as well & had hairy palms for hours after.

it came out of a mk3 thats been crushed for about 5 yrs.
The main thing is that its complete ( no holes) just needs to be coverd with some grey fabric or something.
