Just looking fo some advise on fixing an electrical fault.

Last night after driving back from the local RS meet I had some trouble with my headlights.

The side lights work, dipped beam works but when I switch to full beam the lights go off! If I try to use the flashers to put the full beam on, they just stay dipped!

Wondering if anyone had a similar problem and know's what the fault is?

Any help apreciated.

know they suffer from relay problems mate best off checking these first id guess, see if the fuse box is ok or relays melted

 

maybe a fucked stalk switch thingy

i had the same problem and i just took the relay out and cleaned all the contacts and bent the contacts a bit. Then all was well, just have a go and hopefully you get the same result.
