Default drilling and tappinm zetec head to take erst manifold ?

any one no what size drill bit and tap i should use and im sure i need to use a M8 tread size but just want to check before i mess things up lol

From memory.

M8 x 1.25 tap which has a drilling size of 6.8mm.

I would double check though.

buy an adaptor plate, far easier than fucking about drilling/tapping it.

plush if something happens and you bend the valves etc yo dont have to do it all again

Wimp!!

It is a 20 min job but not something you should atempt with your black and decker cordless. At the least, take the time to set the face up square under a pillar drill.

You will break through into a oil way so need to flush out the head afterwards. Then use new head studs and arraldite them in to seal.

fudgeass not anothe space to fit one on the fiesta mate or the turbo hits the rad head will be removed to fit de-comp plate anyways so will ask my mate to drill it at work thanks
