right...

the fucking thing wnt start agin now just turns off.
have had a play this morning.

basically.
fuel pump primes and desnt if i disconnect fuel relay s i presume thats k.

have high pressure at either end of fuel filter, but on a dribble at tp of metering head and at injectors.

car will only start and runif butterfly under air filter is held down but 10mm.
car will nt start with cold start discnnected.

s i am presuming a metering head fault.

anyother things to check or change.

plugs and leads all look ok so does dizzy cap and rotor arm.

help please its doing my nut in.

it will run, but only with the buterfly pushed in, without it the car just revs up on throttle but seconds later dies again.
cant see how co could have changed, was fine yesterday morning.

check all boost and breather pipe are secure and the dipstick is pushed in properly

physicaly re-check all breather and boost pipes if u r on standard boost pipes check they aint split if u were closer i would come and give u a hand

cheers mate. I actually bought car from cleavdon, its a bit of a shed but its a project to do ver next few months, so trying to get it up and running properly before i start doing anything.

the wireing etc is pretty bodged and car needs general tidy up.

U may recgonise reg.. RHO 69G.

no. what does this mean, by my understanding of ke jet this means its got an air leak as n vacum to move the butterfly but i could be sucking on the wrong titty.

only 1 i remember had rs 7 spokes on it did u see if the flap moves

just gotta find the fucker now then.

Checkk all the boost hoses are on, then you could disconnect everything from the engine such as the brake servo etc, if you are running the standard breather set up even the engine itself has many potential air leaks.....

spot on.



bottom boost hose was split. changed and fine again, obo been like it a while as idle is now too high and its running rich. The spilt has obo got bigger.
