Picked this up, it had been stood for 14 months as the elderly owner (72) had taken for an MOT and it had failed on a few little bits and i dont think he wanted to part with it!, he had had it for 13 years!!.

Done so far..

T-cut/polish
Stem seals
Gearbox mounts
Plugs/air filter
Oil and filter
Setup/clean brakes, had new pads and shoes

Its now got 12 months MOT and drives like a new car!

 

looks mint,just change the petrol now lol

 

Put 3 cans of unleaded in today (was only on quarter tank) and it runs like a different car!

Yes mate, i sell em all after a few months. Just get bored and move on. Got a 328 convertible BMW i've had for 5 months now and its boring the arse off me lol. Longest i ever kept a car was a year and that was a facelift saph

Now thats a clean example of an XR2 and the bodykit hasnt even pitted

i picked an XR2 from an auction coupe of years back was 1 elderly owner with 65k on the clock stunning in white for £250 cant believe no one else bid on it. u guys are gonna slate me now but I used it for a cheap way of advertising(hangs head in shame)sold it on now though.
