Cryogenic freezing is a procedure commonly used for drag-racing parts. It's not that expensive to have done. Add that to the price of a Quaife gear-kit, not straight cut, plus the price to build it and I still think you would have change out of £2k.

I think the Quaife gear kit is about £1400, and £500 for the diff? Yeah, about 2 grand in parts, £200 in labour, and then obviously the £1500 balance must have been in the fridge
