Default problem with ecu

I’ve got a problem with my s8 ecu, its gone into limp mode runs very rich and hunts at idle, when I plug in my lap top an error message 41 comes up with the message “fuel pressure or mapping problem”, I have changed the fuel regulator but no change then I disenable the lambda sensor which is for closed loop fueling but still no change. I have renewed the coolant temp sensor and air charge temp sensor and have tried a different map sensor. Now my question is there a possibility the map can become corrupted, so it’s just a case of having the map looked at then my problem can be fixed, or maybe I have a problem with the ecu which if that’s the case then I will just go back to an L8 or P8 ecu . I do hate these sorts of problems i would rather the car not run makes it easier to fix the problem .
Another question what do you have to do to a L8 or P8 to run 750cc injectors and a coil pack.

Thanks

It got sorted, but i couldnt tell you what the issue was, best speak to kev or simon

I had that once when my laptop battery died halfway through writing a map.

Try uploading the map from scratch mate, that cured it for me

chip i would if i knew how, i can do anything on the car Mechanical i but when it comes to maps i leave it to the experts, i just use the laptop to see what my sensors are reading i just cant understand whats happen, i was going to let paul hill tweak the map but i did'nt want to go there with this problem, but i suppose maybe he could tell me whats wrong, but it will be a waste of time if the problems the actual ecu
