Turbo has a few problems.

Firstly, a wastegate, or lack of, even tho it seems to have a hole for one.

Looks like itd surge to fuck too, but dunno.

And 300bhp needing a T4 compressor?

All looks a bit sketchy to me.

For that price tho IF it didnt have that wastegate wierdness id give it a go on a small budget job where removing and binning the turbo was quick n easy.

Its jus a T3 like fitted to countless american cars in the 80s. Lil bit of modding and itd fit, but its no better than a Cossie T3

Absolutely hideous turbo. Similar compressor to an RS500 T4, but the turbine side is shite in comparison. Avoid at all costs.

The pistons and rods will be fine, once you machine the pistons to a sensible compression ratio..

Thats what i thought 9.0-1 cr still a bit high for a turbo but would be great for a supercharger.

But then i have heard that some tuners do raise the compression on turbo cars to great effect

Yeah, and some people jump off cliffs to great effect.

9:1 isn't great for a supercharger.. not quite sure where you heard that from.. a magazine perhaps?

well just looking into options while im over here . and 350 quid for a set of rods and pistons seems pretty damm good to me .

how would i go about finding the mesurments /dimensions i need for a more suitable comp ratio ??

as i might be able to ask the company to do the nessacarry machining before there sent out ?/???

and are we sure they will fit in our zetec motors ??
i mean i know there all baisclaly the same but will i need to look for a specific motor when io get home ? or will any 2ltr mondy motor be up to it .

thanks peeps ..

and them turbos look like they will accept a t3 exaust elbow on the bk ????

They're not the right length rods for our engines.. they're a bit short.. so you'd be best to fit it and measure the compression ratio, then figure out what you need to do to get it right..
