can you get all the fixings and rubbers brand new anymore?

I'm pretty sure you can't, unless a dealer has a few few laying about. I struggled with new window rubbers for my S1 in 1998 mate..................

 

no mate,i spent ages finding good second hand rubbers!Fixings are the same as KA glass can be bought from autoglass etc and the opening hinge has to come from a series 1!good luck

I might know where there is a set of openers,hinges,glass minus rubbers for sale!

 

You could try fordpartsuk,or e bay as thats where i got mine for my old s2.

 

i got a set of BRAND NEW rubbers for opening rear quarters from www.fordparts.co.uk no problem about 2years ago.

I also have a set in the garage doing nothing that are second hand but good nick if anyone is interested.

 

To get either brand new now is pretty much impossible now, specially green tint

 

Green tint glass was available from ford, try getting the part numbers from DOO. As for hinges, i believe you need them from a series 1 and are like rocking horse shit. But the parts the secure it to the 'B' pillar are the same as a ford KA and the covers for the bolts that go on the outside of the window are the same as a KA too.
