Default Had the Geometry done.......FECK ME...

Car is transformed

95% sorted, need some new bits for front end to properly sort it as my TCA's are a bit shit, i have ordered some new ones and some tarmac steering arms to get rid of some more of the bump steer.

The tension strutt kit works really well in ironing out the bump steer, its safe to say its none existant over a standard MK 2 RS setup

Car pulls up to 150mph in a straight line, brakes in straight line.

But the best bit is how it turns in, coming into the lanes flat out, turn in, slight over steer which is truely awesome then forces you round the bend.

Massive thanks goes to lee for sorting that out....and for Marco for pushing me in to useing this guy. I must say the work and information from this person is awesome, set's the car up how u want and will help u develop it as you get used to various setups...

Can't believe i drove it as it was LOL

Biggest shock is that u took it to a garage and they actually set up the geometry

Most of em dont bother but still charge u for the chance to rag the tits off ya car for an hour or 2......

Where did you get it done? Could they do a normal Sapphire Cossie AND get the steering wheel pointing straight? Is it close to Shropshire?

Cheers for the info Gav - I'll try them when I get my new tyres - pointless trying with these ones I've got as one side has worn unevenly now

mike1, this is more specialised stuff i.e. the car needs to actually be adjustable to start with

Very true Matt, but seeing as most places can not even get the hang of doing basic tracking by adjusting the track rod ends ..........
Thought it might be worth trying this guy whenI get some new tyres....
