Default Fitting oil pressure gauge

i am trying to fit a capillary o/p gauge, on the end of the line (engine side) i have a 1/8bsp fitting and i was going to fit it where the pressure switch is via a t-piece but found when i removed the switch that it was a much larger thread. Do i need to get a different adaptor or should i fit it somewhere else?

I bought a T-piece from SCC Performance but i did not fit mine (it was to big). Therefore I had a local company to make another one for me which fits fine.
