The best products would depend on the finish you want - do you want the flake to stand out, or a deeper wet look?

Wheels should initially be cleaned with something like Poorboy's Spray and Rinse if normal cleaning won't shift the dirt, then polish them, and apply wheel sealer to keep them in good condition, stop brake dust from becoming too heavily bonded, and make future cleaning easier.

A wet look on your colour would be:

Polish with Poorboy's Polish with Carnauba Blue,
Glaze with ClearKote Red Moose Glaze,
Seal with Poorboy's EX
Wax with Natty's Blue.

Polishing the wheels and applying the sealer will also give a nice, glossy finish to your alloys.

You could substitute the Poorboy's Polish with Carnauba Blue for ClearKote Vanilla Moose glaze in the above process, as that would then double up as an excellent polish for your wheels. Your polish wheels should then be coated with Poorboy's Wheel Sealant - a great product, and the best wheel sealant/wax type product that i've tried.

Cloths should all be micro-fibres, Poorboy's MegaMega plush towels are the business - high end, dual sided towels for polish and wax removal. Their waffle weave drying towel is also excellent.

As for mitts, i'd always go with Euro W - the best lambswool mitts available IMO, with a really deep, soft pile

As for the engine bay - how dirty is it?
