Default MTX75 gearbox on a cvh

hi guys, do any of you know whats involved with fitting one of these gearboxes to an rs turbo?, clutch splines different?, driveshafts etc?, any help would be tops, cheers, chris

As above mate Jono Oddkid from here does these. Can't comment any further on them though as I've not dealt with it myself

Ment to be a very good conversion as i think it was Bernie that said he has never had one of his stage 1 MTX75 boxes broken.

Tis a very good conversion which allows you to run 65mph in 2nd gear.

No other gearbox you can have built will be able to do that FWD in an E/FRST

Also the Gear ratios are setup for a decent engine to get 160mph+ from a STD box.

Any after market stuff can be added like ATB etc..

An MTX75 can be bought for as little as Ł50 and will last for years without any problems running upto 330bhp without issues.

I think there was a post Jano made showing how to fit one, it envolved cutting a bit of the N/S front chassis rail out and also having custom drive shafts made.
