1993 Escort Cosworth £8900
My Escort Cosworth is up for sale, due to loosing interest in it and fancy a change! Ive put alot of hardwork into replacing parts etc. Now the HeadGasket is starting to go!
HPI Clear I have Report. I owe nothing on it. Here is a 100% honest description:
1993 Red Large Turbo, 80k have stamped service book for all the services.
Dark Hex Cloth Interia
I have replaced:
Front and Rear Claipers (Recons)
Front Disks and Pads, Rear Pads
All break flexly pipes replace with braided goodridge ones
Fronts driveshafts stripped and rebuilt
Both font wheel Bearings replaced
Steering rack, striped and cleaned
2xTCA
2xTrack Rod Ends
New Fuel Pump and filter, Tank cleaned out. 1x new tank strap
New Front Heated Screen 4 months old, old 1 had a chip.
Underneath have cleaned and rewaxoiled (black)
Painted diffs and box silver
Engine:
Excellent Turbo no movement in shaft
New turbo Heat shelid 1 day old
New Header Tank
Standard Injectors
MSD Stage 1 chip and Actuator. 6 months old (Standard Boost still)
Stainless Steel Exhaust
New CPS, Ignition Amplifirer, Water Temp Sensor, Air Charge Sensor, Temp Sender and Phase Sensor.
New Cap and Rota Arm, New Std Leads, Plugs
Standard AirBox
Std Cam Cover
Baily Dump Valve
Brand New Head Lights
Brand New Water Pump 1 month ago
In the last week...Has started to run on 3 when cold, damp plug No.3, clears to 4 cylinders after 30secs-1min. Used a Snap-On HeadGasket Tester, shows CO2 in cooling system. Does Not over heat yet. Am not driving it anyway.
Suspension:
Front Koni Adjustables and springs
Rear Koni Adjustables with standard springs
Body:
Front Rear bumpers have slight scuffs etc,
Clear Front Lights, Rears are slightly smoked.
Car has had paint.
Havent found Rust yet.
Electrics all work.
I want £8900 for the car, either with std wheels with excellent tyres or 18"Mastiflys 5 spokes with good tyres. Might PX either a Saff or 3d??

Hi, no Air Con, Paint has had it front and rear bumpers, The car is stright.
Why so cheap? I want another car, and i am realistic in my price! And I am to lazy to fix it!

i can vouch for the quality and jaw dropping looks of this car... i have been in the escort a couple of times and it really is a well looked after vehicle. still can't understand the price but hey ho, some of us are insane.
