As title peeps.Wot oil is advised for a 4x4 mt75 gearbox.

No - well, ATF is used in the transfer box, but the gbox is something different IIRC.

Haven't got the book with me to look it up sorry mate

no its oil specially designed for the mt75 box

says mt75 in the name of the oil if i remember

The oil is specifically labelled MT75 and NOTHING else should be used.

Bernie stocks it so best ya call him

Local motorfactors sold me some weird shit, cant remember what it was but it wasnt standard oil.

I am sure it was automatic transmission fluid

just done mine... take the plugs out and see what colour it is .. should be red .. my old box was black

You can use MOBIL SHC 75W90 its red and smells real bad

its cheap enough from Fords mate, and they usually have it in stock. two types - one for the box and one for the transfer assembly.

I got some from ford cost about £11 for a litre. Y2K- i put the oil in both box and transfer didnt use a different one should i of then?
