Default 1st chip for my rs500 & who by

Who is the best manufacturer to have for the first chip. My car is standard, 28,000 miles & I have been told that if I have it chipped the fuel consumption will be better.
Can I do it myself or does it have to go to someone to be re-mapped?
I think it has to have a new actuator but not totally sure.
First time coming out this year at the National.

you could buy a chip off the shelf..
you could get a tuner to pop one in
You could get it live mapped, this is where it you would see good benefits, however just a chip would prob impress you.

To be fair tho if you own an RS500 I wouldn't worry to much about fuel economy.

Karl at NMS would be the man I'd recomend, coventry based.

email him- KARL@Norrismotorsport.co.uk

cheers

I'm interested. Can I do it myself or do you do it, and do I need a new actuator?

I would not be buying a chip and fitting it myself.

Yes it is an easy job to do, but you will need the car set up afterwards to get the AFR right or it may get expensive
