have you checked the air vents in the boot? these when knackered can cause fumes into the car

Yeah checked this flap is still on both, with the windows shut its okay drive with window down and you get fumes in.When I open the bonnet and shove my hooter down the exhaust side you can smell it so was thinking they are coming up through the bonnet vents and being blown in

Hi,

I think gasket face stainless on manifold exhaust side.
( hard side on hard side, smoth side on smoth side )

It's the way i use.

Claude.
