Default MASSIVE BIG UP TO FASTMAUL AND ZTEE24!!!!!!!!

So, less than 24hrs from now I will be 35,000feet in the air over the Atlantic ocean once again, on my return flight from New York

Really don't want to go home - I have enjoyed this week so freaking much!!!! Possibly the best week of my life so far....

New York is such a mindblowing city, with so much to see and so much to do - one week is simply not enough to see everything!

I have utterly, utterly enjoyed my time with Taryn and Erik aswell - two of the nicest and most genuine people you could ever meet! So open and welcoming - bearing in mind I have met Erik only once, for about 10mins and I was ill and felling like crap, and I have never met Tee before, yet they still opened their home to me to stay here for the past week. I have met some really nice people over the past I don't know how many years from the car clubs and forums, but Erik and Tee deffo rank up there in the top as the probably the most generous and downright GREAT people i have met so far - THANK YOU SO MUCH TO YOU GUYS FOR MAKING ME SO WELCOME IN NOT ONLY YOUR COUNTRY, BUT ALSO IN YOUR LOVELY HOME I apreciate it more than I can convey guys, seriously...

Taryns car (which Erik gave me a passenger ride in on Sunday) is also one of the BEST Sierra's I have ever been in. It is utterly beautifull (not unlike it's owner! ), and holy mother of god does it shift!!! Erik wasn't even punching it that hard, shifting at only 4/5k rpm, and even on low boost (14/15lbs) it pulls like a frickin freight train and SLAMS you in the back of the super hugging bucket seat when it comes on boost! Such a truly MAD machine

To sum up, this week has been insane. Seen some breathtaking sights, been to some superb places, had a truly outstanding experience, and to top it all off had some wonderull company whilst out here.

Once again, massive massive thanks to Erik and Taryn, without whom this trip wouldn't have been as great as it was, and I can't say enough how much these guys have made me feel welcome, and how great they are - if I have my own place by the time you next come here then you HAVE to let me repay the favour for you, and thats a promise

To the rest of you - gutted, I'll be back in the UK with you's on Weds morning Ha ha...

Taryn - pmsl...... So true! Whilst sitting in that resturante, I *should* have been 35,000 feet above you in the air

Still going out with Erik and taking a drive round Times Sq at night was far more fun than sitting in a plane surrounded by sleeping people

but hey, I got bumped up a class for Tuesday's flight tho, so not all bad

It's just gone past 2pm here, and I have only been up for a half hour Re-adjusting is a bitch

Yeah I did. To be honest, I think I had a better time going round the city on my own than I would with a group, cos I was able to just do it my way, and go where I wanted to go when I wanted to go there, as opposed to having a debate as you would with a group of peeps

But what made the trip great was being able to go round the city all day on my own, taking everything in, and then going back to see Erik and Taryn, so I wasn't a complete loner Staying with them was superb, cos I had people to talk to and spend the evenings and weekend with

Then I could go back out into the city on my tod again the next day

Steve, if you ever plan on coming over let me know. I'll find out when the best 1/4 mile races are going on at the track.
And I'll give the hookers the heads up

I echo what thrush has said about Erik and Taryn,

when me and the wife went over a few years ago, we had never met Erik and Taryn EVER BEFOR,
We had spoke on here once or twise but that was it,a couple of phone calls when we got to NYC and on the Sunday night we went out for a meal, and we were made very at home, two very genuine, caring people.

Only very good thing to say about these guys.

By the way congrats with the baby and all, hope all goes well at the birth for you guys.
