i want to put some warning lights in my dash,
one for when the water gets too hot and 1 when the oils too hot,
any1 know where i can get these senders from?

think auto, rally design... dont do em, nor do most other places ive tried.

id like the water one to be a M10x1 thread if poss as i bought an adaptor for the pipe with this thread.

also what other lights would you have? ive already got 1 for low oil pressure.

ive got the gauges but you cant always see them creep up if your driving and a big light on the dash would be a good early warning.

u wont get a sender to do it, u need some circuitry to condition the signal.

 

Defi gauges can be programmed to give you warnings IIRC

 

why cant i do it?

its the same as a rad fan switch, the switch will make onthe fall once it reaches a certain temp.

but instead of turning on a rad fan it will turn a warning light on.

but i cant find a rad fan in a 10mm thread.
