Default Where do i stand on this then????

Basicley had a quote off an insurance company, and said no....

Called me back with a MUCH better quote (why not give me that in the 1st fuckin place)

Said ok i want that in writing...Got the paper work through this morning, went to take up the NEW quote,BUT they said they fucked up,and the quote is £170 more!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT Surley if i have it in writing with all the documents i need to send off to take it out, they HAVE to stick with that price dont they??

There fuck up,not mine?!?!?!

have you called them back to ask why the quote is 170 more than was given in the letter??

have they said why it's more in the letter than on the renewal?

have any of your details changed in between the time you recived the letter and the time you took up the quote?

is there a time limit on the quote?

if not, send them the money and tell them to stfu

Thats what im thinking.....

No,she said,"ohhhhhhhhhh when we tried to get a better quote for you,we messed up the part about no claims and gave you discont that you dont have"!!!

BUT on the paper work ive recieved, its got the right no claims on it,and every other detail that i told them is right too,its just that they have fucked up the price!!!

NOT MY PROBLEM!!!!!!!!

So am i right in saying that i can have the policy for what i have in writing in front of me,as all my details are correct, its just the price thats wrong...

CIA Insurance fucked up a quote for me when I was 19, basically they quoted me £1600 TPFT on a modded saff cossie, so I went and bought the car, rang them to buy the insurance (a week later), and they turned round and said basically they had fucked up and couldn't provide me with the cover -20 mins later after speaking to their manager, I drove away a 280bhp saff cossie at 19 fully insured . Fuckers put it up to £3000 pounds when I was 20 though, even after I had no claims or convictions .

So basically, they HAVE to provide you with the insurance they have quoted you, as its a binding quotation for 30 days I belive, unless any details have changed Don't let the fuckers wriggle out of it, bout time the owners get one over on the insurance companies

Elephant filthed me over with a similar thing.

I repeatedly told them that the golf I had was the anniversary model and they gave me the quote, then sent the docs through without the magic word "anniversary" on them. I called them up and explained their cock up which took a while as clearly they don't understand anything about cars, and they then had the cheek to charge me an extra £250!!!

I got my money back in the end and would never use them again, total bunch of jokers.
