yea thats what i was thinking pete i dont think he was to botherd as he had a lot of stuff going on but i think he is fed up of being lied to and treated like a cunt really as i would spending that sort of money
I don't think the problem is the quality, I think its the fact that the guy has been missing his car for 8 months, after being told two weeks, and basically lied to constantly
not like he's asking a great deal either really is it?
how long does it take to build a YB engine?? Even if you are waiting for parts, 8 months is an absolute joke IMHO
Shame, as the company generally has a blinding reputation

I'm surprised that you're bigging them up so much Hayden, given that your car (which was supposed to have been mapped on an engine dyno
), surges it's tits off
. I would be very concerned about this and would be getting it looked at ASAP, as it desperately needs the boost curve mapping (not to mention the fuelling) - all of which you would have expected to have been done on the dyno....

. I could get Ahmed to map it at Brunters with you if you wanted - would be cheaper than swapping the ECU? PassionFord Post Whore!!

Hayden,
maybe you could state why it is that the map is wrong
(like you told us at brunters the other day)
as at the mo this reads that Bluesprint have let you go with a dodgey
map.. and that wasnt quite how it sounded at brunters the other day

just seemed like a couple of problems that you have had, has led to it
being wrong now.

MSD dont map Pectel systems,
You would need to go to someone like AB, or turbo systems etc etc for a P8 super 8,
My car was live mapped on P8 super 8, We done it done the local Dualler, using the lay by's, to burn and fit the new chips.

when the car was first mapped it was on 8 F1 injectors and when i took the engine home and fitted it it missfired from day 1 so took it to steve scott @A1 AND BUT DOES THAT BOY KNOW HIS STUFF he told me map was to cock! so he put 8 greens in and a chip to run 8 greens and it run mint just wasnt the power i wanted but still run mint! the F1 INJECTORS WASNT MAPPED PROPPORLY LOW DOWN so went back to bluesprint put 8 greys back in and then took it back to field motorsport to be mapped tommy didnt pick up i had an air leak and mapped it anyway so giong on a couple of weeks and car seemed o.k then going down road giving it a bit car leaned of and split block
so engine went back to joe and ill give him his due he built engine again f.o.c
obviously when engine come back there was no air leaks so fuel map is f*#ked up so car doesnt run like it should
so now needs mapping again but he is sending new mapped chip in post should be here in morning

Hayden,
You seem to be getting confused, although the super P8 can't be properly live mapped in the real sense of the terms of making LIVE adjustments where you can then see the changes instantly - what you can do is alter the fuel trim / ignition on the Pectel monitor (that Ahmed connects up), so he can see what affect this has on the map. He can then BURN a chip that can be tested in the car (LIVE) and you can keep going through this process until the map is 100% spot on. While mapping the car like this, it is hooked up to a wideband lamda sensor and lap top, it's just that you can't run the software through an emulator, so you are still sort of live mapping, but it is a long winded process, as you have to keep burning chips rather than writing to the chip each time.
I am running super P8 and my map is PERFECT - it was done on the engine dyno first and then mapped on the road and at Bruntingthorpe
