You seem to be getting confused, although the super P8 can't be properly live mapped in the real sense of the terms of making LIVE adjustments where you can then see the changes instantly - what you can do is alter the fuel trim / ignition on the Pectel monitor (that Ahmed connects up), so he can see what affect this has on the map. He can then BURN a chip that can be tested in the car (LIVE) and you can keep going through this process until the map is 100% spot on. While mapping the car like this, it is hooked up to a wideband lamda sensor and lap top, it's just that you can't run the software through an emulator, so you are still sort of live mapping, but it is a long winded process, as you have to keep burning chips rather than writing to the chip each time.
