Default mk1 rs with cossie 4wd&lump

hey chaps

just wondering as i will have time on my hand next summer.

would it be possible to put an 4x4 cossie running gear and turbo lump into either a mk1 or mk 2 escort?

how hard would it be to do !
what major problems do you think there would be.

as for the shell have seen an rs2000 with x-pac or would a plain mk1 shell be better with bubble arches etc.

cheers in advance

dave

Dave, I would say the best way to go is the route that has been done by a few already. That is cut the floor from a 4x4 and mate it up to a Mk1 or Mk2 shell.

On the hard stakes I would put it some place close to tying two eggs together!!

If its just one summer you have free then forget it mate, it will take ages and pots of money unless you are very gifted with the mig set and angle grinder!!
