i own a S2 and my turbo is up the duff ..

the problem is i dont know what turbo to get an where the best place to get one from ..

my car is chiped and has a slightly uprated botom end ..

what would you all suguest as i am having a low comp engine the start of next year so i would like a turbo to cope with it all ..

 

i beleave you need a garret t3 where r u based?

 

i live in the midlands .

the one i have is a t3 but is fcuked and with me uprating the engine soon i would like an uprated 1 .

ive seen some with a cossy t3 or gt28 or t35 but dont know what to go for ...

 

T3. 2wd cossie compressor (55 trim) with a .48 a/r rs turbo exhaust housing + elbow.. for the win

Someone like universal turbos or cr engineering can sort you right out..

 

If you are any good at a little bit of fabrication, I would got for a garrett GT28RS.

 

JUST GET A HYBRID STAGE 2 T3 !!!!!!!!!!!!

WILL COPE WITH THE POWER HIKES YOUR GONNA PUSH AT IT

 

Be careful with this kinda thing. Some turbo resellers bolt a cossie compressor onto a standard rs turbo exhaust housing (0.36 A/R) and call it Stage Blah blah blah.. the reality is you ain't going over 190bhp..

The T3 I laid out above is ideal.. alternatively you could go for the GT28RS, but that's really a 300bhp turbo (and comparatively fragile)..
