Default Next stage of tuning

I have a 2wd saph with t35 stage 3 dark greens bd10's and low comp.
Wrc headgasket L8 ecu.

I am thinking about upgrading to greys.

What are the dissadvantages of this and would my standard box and diff cope with the extra power.

Or would you stay on dark greens??

greys would be fine providing your engine is in good enough condition to cope with the extra power you'll have once the boost is turned up.

the box and diff should be fine really, diff won't last forever if you launch lots though, but boxes are pretty strong!!!

there are no major disadvantages tbh, although it'd be best to have the car live mapped to suit the greys, MSD now do off the shelf chips for greys conversions, but a live map would be even better

The engine has forged cosworth low comp pistons. and a WRC head gasket. Ported and polished head. The bottom end was ballanced/polished and all bearings replaced. I upgraded were the oil pump and fitted arp conrod bolts.
This was all done 1200 miles ago and at the moment, 25psi it is mint.

Would this be ok for greys??

Have a chat with stu, u won't b disappointed

yes this will b fine,i've ran a 2wd standard lump on greys with no probs

just wish i had one of stu's chips then

u will need a L8 ecu for the closed loop conversion this makes all the old skool probs like bore wash disappear

thinking of it again 4 me
