Default Let the Rear running gear resto Begin (Part 1)

Put the car up in the air today for the start of the rear running restoration. Unlike last winter when i restored all the front end suspension, i now have a digi camera so will share my resto with all:-

Cheers mate,
I take even more inspiration from yours, looks lovely. The hard graft starts tomorrow. Bleeding knuckles etc etc, I'm sure you know the score. Mine hands are only just normal after last winters efforts on the front end

To make it easier for you.Drop the petrol tank.Disconnect the prop/brake lines. Then drop the rest down together. You'll be surprised how easy it is to do it this way.Like i did below.

Cheers Stretch,
That was my plan after reading the workshop manual anyway. Just one question for now:- How best to disconnect the braided brake lines without all the fluid peeing everywhere? Do you have to blled all the fluiod out of the system befors you start? This may run the ABS Pump dry??
Regards
Andy

Didnt have braided hoses on at the time.So just clamped rubber ones.
See if you can get a couple of little length's of brake pipe with the right end and blanked off at other. Most good car accessories/Motor Factors shop should have pipe making facilities.
