Got a 2.0 Zetec in my garage ready to go in an escort. Was thinking... will the Zetec hook up to the MFI injection from an XR3i? like manifolds and bits?

You'll need to convert it to EFi mate but you'd have needed to do that on the cabrio's you was gonna drop it into anyway.

Could always put the Zetec on carbs

 

metering head trumpet will be all wrong for the 2.0

ive just done a conversion on my MFI orion to 2.0ltr zetec!! if you go on the orion register web site have a look at the "how to" section there is loads of info there for you!!! good luck!! and yes its worth doing!!!!!!!

ok mate u should have a pm coming ur way just some questions as my bros got a 1.6mfi xr3i and was thinking of going zetec b4 he put the xr3i engine in just want to no wats involded

 

well i drove my car with the 2.0ltr conversion last night for the first time!! fook me its quick!! wouldnt say its a cossie killer but it certainly moves along!!! if anyone is wondering weather to do this conversion id say deffo go for it!!!
