My m8 has finally knackered the engine on my old 3dr.

He wants to get approx 450bhp out of his rebuild, he is on Stage III with a 500 intercooler, swirl pots, oil breather, all sillicon hoses at the moment. What would he need to get that sort of power, a parts/price list and who is the best person to get them off would be gratefully received as he just wants to get on with it.

PS Would his T34 be ok for this sort of power or would he need bigger?

 

I would expect a 34 to be at its limit before he even gets there!

Best talk to MSD, Karl, MAD, etc for a menu and prices.

decent head and live map will be the two most significant coices I recon.

 

yeah T34 would run outa puff for 450bhp, need to go T4 or GT28/30

engine wise, low comp cosworth pistons, long studs (or ARP), balanced crank-rods-flywheel, , mega flowed head and some wilds cam. that's just my ideas anyway.

Budget for about 6k.
