Does anyone have info on putting a cossie lump into a MK1 or MK2 Fiesta. I'm toying with the idea but want to do my research first.

was quoted to do a PROPER job this afternoon including wishbones etc etc... Based and Autocross car and your looking at about 20k. You could probably do it a bit cheaper but then you will most probably run into problems...

I figured even with only 300hp is should move pretty good with the power to weight ratio.

would spin like a bitch i reckon, if your serious and gonna go for the track look, cage stripped interior etc etc, you have to get it all set up proper, and for near 20k for the conversion engine transmision tunnel etc etc, would it be worth it unless your loaded?

AVA built a front wheel drive Mk3. For a rear wheel drive, talk to Steve Scott at A1 or Sean and Brom at Zoo. Either of them could probably do something for you

I'd have to do the conversion myself. Which will save a lot of cash. but I'd like to look at some of the ones done already to give me an I dea of what has to be done. I have a donor Sierra so I have the tunnel and floor if I need it. Like I said I'll start looking into it. If anyone has pics or links to pics I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Yep, loads of rally cars have been done like this, You use (as above has) mk2 cross member and steering rack, wack in a pedal box and 5 link the back like a mk2.Has anyone used a cossie diff in the back instead of the Mk1/2 5 link set up?
and do you have to knock up custom ARB for the front, can you use compression struts?
Cheers, Andy

Speak to Steve Scott at A1 Rally Sport mate - he's doing my RWD Fez, which uses Cossie running gear and front suspension / brakes / hubs etc. and a Watts linked Baby Atlas with Mk2 Group 4 suspension out back- exactly the same as what you want mate... I'm running a CVH in it but will prob swap to a Cossie at a later date...
Ł20k? NO WAY MATE! Speak to Steve...
Cheers,
Ben
