A frined of mines dad has an XR2 for sale that im quite interested in, but neither him nor I know how much its worth!!

The guy owns his own bodyshop and hes done a full bare shell restoration on the car. He said that it wasnt a particularly bad example when he got it but i know that he likes things to be perfect!

Except for the paintwork and a few new panels (from ford) the car is 100% original even down to the stripes down the sides.

It runs like a dream (forgot to record mileage ) and the interior is also immaculate!

He has done next to no miles since finishing the car (about 4 years ago) and in the last year it has only done 100 miles. He really doesnt want to sell but as always the wife says he has too many toys!

It's very hard to judge condition from your description, but at a guess, going by other fully restored examples I've seen, anywhere between 1 grand for a tidy one, to 3 grand for a concours minter!
