textbook advice from web BUT to be honest spiky ive never bothered with the bleed hose (i know for sure mine has one), always just filled up from header tank whilst squeezing hoses, once the level seemed to stablilise i start car and top up as necessary, then let the fans cycle, never had a prob yet and have done it a few times now
i've just checked my car, i do not have the bleed hose, only one outlet going to turbo
Then you must have a bleed screw on the thermostat housing (4x4), if so undo it 3 or 4 turns (no need to take it all the way out) then run the engine up to temp and while doing so, look for a flow of water from the base of the screw. When you see a flow of water/or steam, tighten up the bleed screw.
Thats it!
BTW good idea to set the heater controls to HOT (red zone) during the bleeding process, should prevent an air lock in the heater loop (circuit)..........
In that case, park the car on a sligtly upwards surface (nose up), remove the cap from the header tank, make sure heater is set to HOT and run the engine up to normal working temp - while keeping an eye on the water level. When the engine reaches working temp put the cap back on.
